For Buyers

How buying on HeimatliCH works

Every listing is made by hand, at home or on a small scale — not mass produced. Here's how to find something real and get it to your door.

01

Browse by category or canton

Search Art & Handicrafts, Food or Wine, or filter by where a maker is based. Every listing carries a non‑industrial origin stamp, so you always know it's genuinely handmade.

02

Check the maker's profile

See who made it, their canton, and what past buyers say. Direct, personal selling is the whole point — you're buying from a person, not a warehouse.

03

Message before you buy

Ask about materials, sizing, timing or customisation directly through secure in‑app messaging. Most makers reply within a day.

04

Choose pickup, delivery or shipping

Arrange what works for both of you — collect locally, get it delivered nearby, or have it shipped. The maker confirms the option when you check out.

05

Pay securely, confirm on arrival

Your payment is held securely until you confirm you've received your order — the maker is paid out right after.
