How selling on HeimatliCH works

If you make art, handicrafts, food or wine at home — on a small farm or in a garage workshop — this is how you get it in front of buyers across Switzerland.

01

Create your maker profile

Tell buyers who you are and where you work from — your canton, your craft, and what makes your work yours. This is what earns trust before anyone reads a single listing.

02

List what you make

Add clear photos, a short description, your category (Art & Handicrafts, Food, or Wine) and your price. Listings that state materials, dimensions and how something was made sell faster.

03

Get approved

Every new listing is reviewed to confirm it's genuinely non‑industrial — made by hand, at home or small‑batch scale. Most listings are approved within one business day.

04

Talk to your buyer

When someone's interested, you'll hear from them directly through secure in‑app messaging — no phone number or email needs to change hands until you're ready.

05

Hand it over and get paid

Agree on pickup, local delivery or shipping. Payment is held securely and released to you once the buyer confirms they've received their order.

What sells well

  • Natural light photos, taken close and from a few angles
  • A short story: why you make it, what it's for
  • Honest pricing that reflects the time something took to make
  • Fast replies to buyer questions — usually within a day
